YES I DID, it challenged me 🙂
I must admit that writing essays is not my strongest area however this essay challenged my extremely as I had to link design, science and technology, however I had to make sure the essay was mostly based on DESIGN. One of the main reasons why I really enjoyed doing this essay was because I am extremely interested in cars and I want to own a Ferrari in the future if possible.
Comparing these cars was extremely fun as I learnt new stuff not only about the cars but about science and technology such as aerodynamic lines. However there were certain times when I struggled with the essay, especially when I had to make sure I stuck to DESIGN and not keep going on about statistics, performance, science and technology.
Below is a website which has a Harvard Reference Generator. This is the website I used to references the information I gathered for my essay
Below is a video on Youtube that I found which is about the Ferrari 458 vs the Ferrari 430
The video is very interesting and useful as it talks about;
- Compares older cars with the new Ferrari
and answers the question ‘what’s the 458 like as a drivers car?’
I have read over my essay again and I have made a few more changes, such as in the conclusion and in the 5th paragraphy 🙂
Below is a link which explains what Primary and Secondary sources are. There are also examples on the website of these sources.
I wanted to make sure that my conclusion is really good. A conclusion should evaluate the essay and the question. Below is a link to where I got guidance about how to conclude an essay really well.
Some of the strategies were:
- Echoing the introduction
- Challenging the reader
- Looking to the future
- Posing questions
I have made some final updates on my essay before sending it off for submission on Monday. Throughout this weekend I will keep reading over my essay as I may come up with more ideas 🙂
